Electrical and Instrumentation Technician Needed

Job Responsibilities - Perform preventive maintenance of electrical & instrumentation equipment - Perform daily routine check of all equipment - Carry out calibration of Instruments like pressure gauges and other field instruments - Perform day-to-day startup and shut down of utilities system whenever required - Perform troubleshooting, repair and servicing of electrical & instrumentation equipment - Ensure proper care/cleaning of tools, parts, materials and work areas - Maintain preventive maintenance and internal calibration records - Update and maintain history record of each and every equipment - Any other duties as and when assigned by superior from time to time

Requirements

- Higher NITEC / Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent - Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in performing duties equivalent to Electrical/Instrumentation Technician with plant maintenance, including repair, installation and maintenance of electrical equipment such as instrumentation systems, transformers, switches, control panels and electronic components - Must have ability to learn and work effectively with the plant’s Distributed Control System (DCS). Experience on Siemens PCS7 is a plus. - Experience in inspection, testing, calibration, maintenance and repair of process instrumentation and control equipment - Proficient in basic office computer software
