O&G Clinic Nurse
Clinic Located at City Central is looking for Clinic Nurse (Midwife/O&G)
Job description
• Assist doctor in medical procedures
• Promote and maintain good patient relationships, ensure smooth delivery of quality service to patients
• To render nursing care to patients’ general comfort and well being before, during and after any surgical procedure.
• Patient Education
• Responsibility for safe storage, administration and dispensing of medication
• Responsibility for maintaining the emergency trolley
• Maintain and assume overall responsibility of hygiene within the clinic
• Follow up care for patient after surgery, to include dressings, removal of sutures, implementation and adjustment of lifestyle changes
• Involvement and facilitation of insurance needs of patients
• To visit patients in hospital as and when needed
• Assistance with medical reports, clinical related letters or reports
• To work with clinic manager to ensure smooth running of patient care and services
• Track all tests/investigations ordered for patients including initial review and report to doctor if result is abnormal
• To do administration duties for patients to be admitted to hospital
• Handle medical enquiries from public & patients
• Assist doctor in adhoc admin duties
• To maintain real time communication with the doctor
Criteria Requirements:
• Diploma in Nursing or Midwifery
• Registered with Singapore Nursing Board (SNB)
• Prefer candidates who are trained in O&G
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
• Ability to speak Mandarin is bonus
• Good organisational and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, able to multi-task, keen to learn on the job, able to learn new skills quickly
• Meticulous, with strong intellect and analytical skills, a positive attitude to continuous improvement • Able to handle sensitive and confidential material reliably
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision, and travel within Singapore if needed
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays if required
• Able to work on shift 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
